Make a Mountain Out of a Molehill

Erling T. V. Klingenberg & Sirra Sigrún Sigurðardóttir

5-20 October 2012

The opening on the 5th of October marks the beginning, the instigation of the designated slot, presenting works that form the scaffolding of what is yet to come. Setting in place a construction site for other invited artists and guests to participate in and react to. So rather than have everything finished on the opening day, the process will begin, and the exhibition will constantly change during the exhibition period. The work as a whole will therefore not be completed until the last day of the exhibition. The exhibition proposes to be a flowing, evolving, growing and morphing platform with emphasis on sharing, experience, and exchange.

Central to Klingenberg and Sigurðardóttir’s art is a study of the nature of circumstances, the underlying powers or drives that shape the flow, shifts and changes in society at large and closer to our personal experiences, but bound to and worked through the voice and means of the artist.
