Spor / Traces

FLOK

Opening: Friday 4 October 17.00 – 20.00
Exhibition Period: 5 – 26 October

The artists have chosen to work with and interpret the concept of traces. A concept which we can all relate to, since we all leave traces of ourselves, both consciously and unconsciously. Regardless of where we walk and stand, which actions we perform and choices we make. The artists’ various registrations and interpretations lead the viewer in different directions, and at the same time invite visualisations of time and place. The exhibition will in this way become a space which makes reflection possible, and perhaps an understanding of an otherwise unknown and alien world in busy everyday life.

The works in the exhibition encompass both site-specific installations, sculpture, and digital interactive works, and are created with materials as diverse as ceramics, photography, glass, light, video, and more.

The Art Group FLOK currently consists of Martin Thaulow, Maj-Britt Zelmer, Martha Hjorth Jessen, Jacob Sikker Remin, Ane Fabricius Christiansen, and Jakob Stig Isaksen.
